Huawei has been present in Poland since 2004. When the company intended to locate one of its Research & Development Centers in Warsaw, Poland, it turned to ShareSpace for help.
The need
The client’s needs were very specific. Huawei was looking for:
- A modern workspace for specialists working on top global ICT solutions. A space that would allow cross-team collaboration, simultaneous work of many small groups, and the undisturbed process of creative work for engineers and experts.
- Prestigious space to host meetings and welcome managers on business trips to Warsaw.
- Space that would grow with the company – Huawei’s staffing plan envisioned initially a ten-person team whose task was to organize the research center and IT environment in Warsaw. Over a twelve-month period, the number of employees would gradually increase to 140.
- Space that would ensure the highest level of privacy and security. The office had to have fully controlled access and a bespoke server room with specific technical parameters. The kitchen and catering area also had to be accessible exclusively to Huawei employees.
Our solution
Thanks to our market reach potential, we were able to propose an office in a prestigious Warsaw location on Rondo Daszyńskiego, in a flexible space provided by Bobo Coworking. To meet the client’s needs, we offered a pay-as-you-grow model of office lease, which allowed Huawei to pay only for the currently used space, while retaining the ability to expand the office as the team grew.
We were able to negotiate a discount to optimize rental costs. In the pay-as-you-grow model, the cost increases as the business expands and the price grows proportionally to the space used.
Additionally, we ensured that all technology requirements were met. Our advisors coordinated the process of implementing IT solutions to ensure every detail was vetted and secured.
